Support

We usually reply within one business day.

Email support@ecglab.app with a description of the problem, your iPhone model and iOS version, and your Apple Watch model. Please don’t attach ECG recordings or health data unless we ask — we’d rather not receive it.

Medical emergency? ECG Lab support cannot interpret your ECG or give medical advice. If you have chest pain, fainting, severe shortness of breath or think something is seriously wrong, call your local emergency number now.

Common questions

My recordings aren’t showing up

  1. Make sure the ECG was taken with the Apple Watch ECG app and appears in the iPhone Health app under Browse → Heart → Electrocardiograms (ECG).
  2. Open the Health app → your profile picture → Apps → ECG Lab, and confirm “Electrocardiogram” is turned on.
  3. Return to ECG Lab and pull down on the recording list to refresh. Large libraries import in batches; give it a minute.

The app says “poor signal” or a recording is marked inconclusive

Single-lead Watch ECGs are sensitive to movement and dry skin. Rest your arm on a table, keep still, make sure the Watch is snug, and hold your finger lightly on the Digital Crown for the full 30 seconds. ECG Lab intentionally hides beat-level findings on low-quality strips rather than guess.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ECG Lab. Cancelling keeps Premium active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all payments and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple ID used for the purchase.

I bought Premium but the app still shows the paywall

Open ECG Lab → Settings → Restore Purchases, making sure the device is signed into the Apple ID that made the purchase. If it still doesn’t unlock, email us with the date of purchase and we’ll sort it out.

How do I delete my data?

Swipe to delete individual recordings or symptoms inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything ECG Lab stored. Your original ECGs stay in Apple Health under your control. See the Privacy Policy for what little data ever leaves the device.

Can I use ECG Lab without Apple Watch?

ECG Lab analyzes recordings from the Apple Watch ECG app (Series 4 and later, Ultra). It does not currently import ECGs from other devices.

Is ECG Lab a medical device? Does it diagnose?

No. It is an informational tool for understanding recordings your Watch already made. Findings are not a diagnosis and should be discussed with a clinician.
